I am not sure if this subject belong`s here, so if it`s in the wrong place, maybe it can
be put in the right subject area.
I am trying to find some moving animated pictures of Christmas snow pics.
I can find hundreds of moving fish aquarium pics for the desktop, but no winter falling
    snow pics.
    Can anyone assist?
    Thanks.

Many thanks for your help, however, as like other "animated" desktop pics,
the one i selected from your answer, does not actually "move", as like it does
initially. I have tried a few but they all end up as "still" pictures. I guess i was
hoping for too much, but i will keep on looking through the "net".
    Many thanks.

I saved one of the phots Cindy posted to my desktop and opened it. It opened with Microsoft Photo Viewer. The animation worked nicely. It doesn't play when you open it with Paint.

What program are you opening the files with?

Make sure you save as a gif and not a jpg file.
    Xmas2.gif
    Xmas3.gif

My gif files open with the free IrfanView program.

I just realized you want these as desktop wallpaper. That's the problem.
Windows 10 itself doesn’t support GIFs as desktop wallpapers.

You'll need to install a 3rd party program to get them to "move".
Since I don't run Windows 10, I can't begin to suggest any programs. I'll let the techs here suggest programs to try.

    Thank you.
I will wait to see if any one replies to your comment.
Just to mention that my computer does not have Microsoft viewer, Tony D.

If it's Windows 10, MS Photo Viewer comes along with the OS.

So what program opens the file that you download? Photo Viewer would be the default unless it's been changed?

I have checked (and double checked), but Windows 10, MS Photo Viewer, is not installed.
If it came with the Operating System, then i am not sure if i would be able to find a
seperate download for it so that i can install it.
    I was just using Photo.

Just a thought, i do have VLC Player.
Can i somehow, use that to change the desktop picture to convert it to WMV File somehow?
Will this make the pic :move?".
If so, where can i find the info to do that?
I am assuming just type in something like, "make WMV files using VLC?

Hi. Sorry for the absence. My work does not leave me much spare time.
Thank you all for all the replies.
I will try that app out, "all heart 55".
If you do not hear from me within a couple of day`s, you can mark this subject
as "solved". Being a night driver keeps me busy, but i will find the time to try
    your idea out, "Cindy E".
Many thanks to all who helped and suggested.
