I have a HP Laserjet 1020 printer USB'd to my Lenovo desktop running Windows 10 Pro and my wife has a Dell laptop running Windows 10 pro and no matter what I do, I can't seem to network our computers so she can print from the Laserjet printer.
I've turned on sharing on both computers, I've enabled no password sharing.
    I've shared the printer.
We had no problem sharing until I upgraded my Windows 7 pro to Windows 10 pro.
I have a laptop running Windows 7 pro still, and it prints just fine.
I am at my wits end trying to figure this out. I understand also that Windows 10 got rid of the Homegroup.
Why would they do that!? That's how I had done it for forever.

Any help would be very appreciated.

    Thank you,

Good find Tony I like how they say easy setup. I find not much is easy anymore in windows 10 especially networking since they removed Homegroup.

    Thank you Tony D,
That helped me out, but ultimately, the problem was the computer security was blocking us.
My wife's laptop has Norton antivirus & mine is running Panda Dome Premium.
I decided, after knocking my head against the wall, to disable both security programs and wala we could see each other!!

Thanks for the update. Good idea to shut down Norton. I’ve seen it cause problems before. Those were with wireless printers. Its firewall would update and the user could no longer print to their wireless printer.
