Hello and welcome Robert. You can get this error if your computer did not originally have Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC installed. For instance, it may have come with Windows 10 Home. The license Microsoft associates with the machine is the license for W10 Home, not W10 Enterprise LTSC.

Do you think that is the case here? If that is the case, you'll need a valid license for W10 Enterprise LTSC.

When you bought the computer, it would have come with Windows. The version of Windows would have been noted somewhere. If it didn't come with Windows, you'd have to purchase a copy of Windows.

If you use the Windows Media Creation tool, I'm pretty sure it installs the version of Windows that your computer is licensed for. You can obtain it here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d

Tell us how you obtained the computer and how you got a copy of Windows.

On another forum some guy offered to do this…”If you want I can do it but you have to share your skin to me via TeamViewer so I can control your PC”

    is that a bad idea
