Can’t activate

Hello and welcome Robert. You can get this error if your computer did not originally have Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC installed. For instance, it may have come with Windows 10 Home. The license Microsoft associates with the machine is the license for W10 Home, not W10 Enterprise LTSC.

Do you think that is the case here? If that is the case, you'll need a valid license for W10 Enterprise LTSC.

 

When you bought the computer, it would have come with Windows. The version of Windows would have been noted somewhere. If it didn't come with Windows, you'd have to purchase a copy of Windows.

Yes, that's a bad idea. I wouldn't let anyone I don't know remote into my machine. You don't know what they may be up to.

My guess is that the machine came with Windows 10 Pro. You can go here to get the specs. It may include the Windows version.
