That is a link to you tube I don't think you can close it. I just opened a Google.com page and it is there on my page also. You can't get rid of it unfortunately. Google does own you tube so I guess that is why it is there.

Hello and welcome Eric. What is the URL (Address) that shows up in the Address bar? Does it say Google.com?

I just blocked that youtube annoyance using uBlockOrigin. (I'm using Firefox 91 ESR as my browser)
I selected pick and made sure it included not only the video but also the youtube button.

    Here's what I see

If you turn off uBlock Origin, do you see the YouTube ad?

Just tried that and the same result .... no you tube box.
Maybe this is browser related..... what browser are you using?

On my W10 machine, I don't see the YouTube ad with either Edge, FF, or Chrome. I have ad blockers turned off in each of those browsers. That's why I asked what URL Eric is going to.

It wouldn't matter if uBO was off or in. The filter is added to the list and will not show on that page, unless the filter is removed from the dashboard. Once it is blocked, it stays blocked. Here's my filter list with not showing (I obscured the other filter items) but the last item.

I don't run Chrome on any Windows computer, only on android devices and my chromebook. I just opened Chrome on the chromebook and there is yet no YouTube link below the search bar. I also checked extensions and I do have uBO installed and enabled.

The YouTube thing is fairly new so perhaps not everyone is seeing it yet.
