Win 8 has disabled Win Defender because I downloaded Avast not knowing I could not have the two at the same time. But I cannot uninstall Avast. When I try I get the notice that I must have administrator permission. I am the only user on the pc and win has me as administrator. I have an app called Revo Uninstaller but it doesn't even find Avast as an app. Avast is listed under programs in C: but win 8 does not show it as an app in its list. I just want to use Win Defender but I must first get rid of Avast. Thanks, Dave

I also get a recorded voice that says "Welcome to Avast" as soon as I open Win 8 after being shut down.
