We have a major road that is under a railroad bridge. It floods every time it rains. It been happening for 75 years. We saw newspaper pictures from 75 years ago showing it with water, just like it was last week.

There are signs saying area subject to flooding. There are signs posted not to drive through water. There are signs with water levels painted on the side so you can see how deep the water is. There are wooden horses pulled across to block the road when it rains. And yet, people will bypass the wooden horses, attempt to drive through the water and the car stalls out.

The last rain, they posted police cars with officers at each end of the "subway" so people can't use the road. What a waste of police power just to stop the idiots who refuse to believe the signs and barricades.

People go into these Crock infested waters in small boats, and the Crocks leap out of the water and into the boats grabbing who ever they can. Recently a woman watched in horror, as a Crock landed in the boat and took her Husband.
All boats should have Crock guards, like the Ranger's boat has.
