I thought you were given a fix for that problem last time,Gunnner.
    Could be wrong.

If I recall it had something to do with compatibility mode in IE either turn it off or vice versa. There is a whole thread about it somewhere.

Seems to me that the 'FIX' was done by Bob at CHF, if I remember correctly.
It's not a problem as I know how to jump the box. I don't have time to check the threads for it.

I was just getting used to the last skin.

    Is this the "final

This is a hot topic of debate at the moment as their seems to be some issue with members not liking the index page but now is you chance to have your say,

Bottom line, it has to work.
    I'm less concerned about appearance.
I was okay with the previous iteration.

    this is so true :D

thing is we want new members and new content, the unconventional index page has or is causing issues with new members not recognising it as a forum index page, or having issues navigating the site using it.

Our bottom line is we want a growing community of people helping each other and forming friendships and sharing interest's in a friendly atmosphere,

we would also like old members to return and become active again, lol after all a dead site is really boring to administer and moderate

    It seems I can't edit.

I was suggesting pcpitstops layout/color scheme be viewed for inspiration.

I for one understood that completely. So no worry there. :)

As for editing, we allow editing for a short period of time after you post. (I forget how long it is set for) This allows the member to review the post and make changes to spelling or just change pretty much everything. There are a number of reasons for this restriction but the main one is to protect the member who may reply. I have personally been the victim where I posted a reply and then the original poster changed the post after the fact. If you ever feel that you need an edit just PM me or another staff member.

I find the pc pitstop color scheme to be warmer and thus inviting.
To me blue is more formal and business-like.

I agree, I must admit that blue although associated with technical (Blue Print) stuff isn't my first choice in colour for a warm friendly atmosphere, and I think I would personally go for grey and red or grey and green

    The current layout works.
A change of colors is all that's needed.
