What is the page that it opens to when you open IE and are you using the search bar there or in the address bar?

    Lets try this
    Tools
    Manage add-ons
    On the Left search Provider

You may have to add another search provider before you can disable Bing.

I think you need to change the browser home page. Are sure you use IE and not Edge?

    IE looks like this:
    : upload_2020-5-16_8-4-20.jpeg

    Edge looks like this:

    To change IE home page:
    1. In the top corner of Internet Explorer, select Tools Gear-shaped Settings icon, and then select Internet options.

    2. On the General tab, under Home page, enter the URL of the site you want to set as a homepage. You can add more than one URL. Or, to add the site you're currently viewing, select Use current. If you add more than one URL, put each URL on its own line.
    3. Select Apply, and then select OK.

      To change Edge's home page:

      Select Appearance.

      Turn on Show home button.

You can either choose New tab page or select Enter URL for a page that you want to use as your home page.

    Something else I thought of:

If you're using IE, and you haven't set IE as the default internet browser, then Edge will open for many internet tasks and you'll see Bing. To change the default browser:

    1. Select the Start button, and then type Default apps.
    2. In the search results, select Default apps.
    3. Under Web browser, select the browser currently listed, and then select Microsoft Edge or another browser.
