Bing Beta - Microsoft's New Search Engine

    Well as promised Microsoft has launched its Beta Search engine, Bing available to try at http://www.bing.com/?mkt=en-gb

    Gave it a quick try and seems to be quite good but it will have to go a long way to convert me from google, especially igoogle, so what does everybody else think about Bing?

    Interestingly, we have a new member BingAaron who is located just outside of Redmond Washington and who has already posted regarding Bing. (unfortunately he selected a newsgroup to post.)

    It would seem that this is Microsoft actually posting spam on our forums. I am not sure whether to be annoyed or flattered. :)

    Don't worry Barry, I got the joke :)

    and on topic, I don't think anyone will ever compete against Google, even the wonders of Microsoft couldn't out smart the smartest search engine :)

    I do like the way they just copied google and stuck a picture behind it instead of the amazing white background of Google :)
