    Here's the problem:
I wanted to install Ubuntu 12.04 or 12.10 (which hasn't been done) but I couldn't. My UEFI BIOS got used to a 32" screen which made it impossible for me to access it as the cursor would leave trails leaving color garbage everywhere that was pitch black. I got tired of this and installed EasyBCD. It seemed there was no way to start my USB (a Toshiba Enshu 16GB flash drive but there's no point talking about that :p) and I wanted to mess around with EasyBCD. I accidedently removed all entries in the BCD so I had added Windows 8.1 and added the drive where it lay, which was C. I wanted to check if this was saved so I had shutdown my PC, but it stayed on. I held the power button to shut it down forcefully. The next thing I knew was that the PC went to my BIOS and when I restarted it AGAIN it went to Windows Boot Manager with this:

Windows failed to start. A recent you-know-what might have caused this.

    Status: 0xc0000028 in /BCD

Message: The Boot Configuration Data dosen't have enough valid data for an Operating System.

I would be grateful if someone could hand me an .iso file for the system repair disk in Windows 8, I don't feel like going forward and getting another RE iso, such as Comodo Rescue Disk.
If the repair disk won't work in my case, please can you not add any procedures that will remove all my data because quite frankly, these programs take quite a long time to recollect (I haven't made a backup drive but I'll be bound to once my PC is up and running :D) My PC model is an ASUS M11BB with an AMD A8-5600k processor with AMD Radeon 7560D intergrated graphics. This is an APU as well (accelerated processor) and it has 2TB HDD (no SSD) and 8GB of ram. Blu-ray disk drives and 3.0 USB ports are all in the mix but I don't have to get into detail with that :p

P.S I have set the boot sequence to start from the CD drive, hence the .iso

I'm more used to CMOS BIOS'es rather than UEFI and I probably don't have a option to use a USB. Guess I'll have to go my dad's nephews and use his PC. Is a Generic Media Device another word to say USB, cause it probably means the SD-Card reader but who cares.

Generic media device is usually a usb flash drive but could be sd also. If you can set bios to legacy and it finds the drives you should be good to go.

Thanks. Just one thing. I need some ISO to burn to my USB and I don't want to risk a 10 minute walk to my nephews for a loaded USB, but I guess that is the only option anyway.
    Oh how I love CMOS!

I have some BAD news. Bootrec can't work, I've tried the whole shebang, and even though it found Windows on the C:/ drive, it won't fix it due to the drive not being found. Do I have to make the partition active with DISKPART or something or do I have to go with my form tutor (who is a computer scientist) and give it to the repair shop for them to do it externally?
Please give me a answer A.S.A.P and it feels like I've got corrosive acid poured on my head.

Wait that doesn't make sense you say it found Windows on the "c" drive but it can't find the drive? I have seen that often where you set the bios to legacy and then the bios can't see the drive, it means there has to be a switch or key that accesses bios or drive boot within the UEFI from Asus for that pc. F-9 seems to be the one to offer a reset of the OS and there seems to be a reset with or without your files option as well. "DEL" enters the bios and you can make a usb Recovery Disk:
"Control Panel, System & Security, Find and Fix problems, Recovery, Create A Recovery Drive"

I did make a recovery USB and it works just fine, just a restart and it got recognised the USB. I did set the boot menu policy to legacy, is that the problem?
