asrock h81m no sound

    hello, ive been running this motherboard in my com for years now connected via hdmi to my tv with no issue's but about a month ago my tv broke so i decided to connect my com to a monitor but i had no sound out any jacks, tried uninstalling/reinstalling realtek but no luck, i now have a new tv connected via hdmi but guess what no sound again? tried uninstalling/reinstalling the intel vga drivers, different hdmi bios set up, nothing its says hdmi is not plugged in, any ideas would be most helpful.
    i would also like to point out the old tv was not connected to my com when it broke.

    all sorted strangely,after re-installing drivers from disc and online with no luck i tried just installing the specific drivers for intel sound from the disc and it worked, hope this may help others with same issue.

    Hello and welcome and thanks for the update. I'll bet there was an update somewhere along the way that caused the problem.
