I have a Windows 10 computer that is only about seven months old. Today I turned on the computer only to find that every input port is disabled. All USB ports, the DVI port, the speaker jack, the keyboard port.... I am baffled as to what could be going on here. My only thoughts are some sort of virus, or maybe some sort of crazy security protocol installed on the computer. I'm not the primary user of the computer and he is unreachable so I can't asked if he has installed anything new like that.... if that even exists! I've never heard of anything like this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have not idea what to try since I can't even turn on a monitor to see what's going on!

    Thanks!

Thanks. It's a desktop and nothing physical has happened to it. No bumps. The most recent suggestion I've gotten is to unplug everything for 10 minutes then plug everything back in and try again.

You need to take the side cover off and see if the motherboard lights come on and if the fans spin up.
Check is everything is seated correctly.
You are getting nothing at all?. No beep codes? No errors on the screen?.
Can you hear anything at all when you hit the start button?

All fans and lights are on. No beeps of any kind. Nothing at all on the monitor and nothing at all on the keyboard. (No lights flash on the keyboard at startup)

    Things I would try.

Try with one stick of ram

Remove the silver button cell battery for 5 mins.

Set your Bios back to default settings.

    Check boot order in Bios.

    Also reseat your Graphics card.

    Check your monitor connections thoroughly.

I went down to one stick on ram. It worked. I tried reseating all of them back in before trying one at a time and it's fixed! I'm not sure what happened, but I'm so happy it's working now. Thank you for your help!
