I am building my first custom rig, so I am having a really difficult time choosing the correct motherboard. I will be mainly using it for gaming. I don't necessarily want to over-clock it.

The parts that I have already chosen are:
    Case: NZXT Source 340
    SSD: Samsung 750 EVO MZ-750250
    Power supply: Cooler Master V550
    Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 412S:
    Processor: Intel Core i5-6600(k)
Ram: Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4 2400MHz
Graphics card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 G1

The ATX motherboards that I am a bit torn between are:
    ASUS B150 PRO GAMING
    GIGABYTE GA-Z170-HD3P
    MSI B150 Gaming M3
(I don't necessarily have to overclock my system, but if I choose the Z170 model ofc I will go with the i5-6600k as well)

If you were in my position, which one would you choose to go with this particular build ?
(ofc, if you happen to know an even better motherboard in the same price category, I would love to hear it as well)

    In advance, thank you !

Hi and welcome to 1 chf.
I would go with the GIGABYTE GA-Z170-HD3P
I would also up the PSU to at least 750 watts and choose 80+ Gold.
For extreme Gaming I recommend water cooling.

Please keep this enquiry to one thread only as more than one thread leads to confusion.
    Thankyou.

Thank you. Regarding the PSU, is the 550 not enough ? Because to me the 750 seems a bit overkill, I could be wrong since I am a bit inexperienced.

Edited: And if you were to choose an B150 motherboard, which one would you choose.

I gave you my advice from building many Gaming PC's.
You say you are inexperienced and straight away you are questioning my judgement.

Because I want to learn and see the error in my own judgement?

I'm partial to Gigabyte boards....my personal preference but I have used Asus boards. So I go with the Gigabyte board.

Now for your PSU....just google PSU calculator. Use any of them as they are all about the same. Fill out the form for components you're going to use and that will give you a good starting point. Then the next recommended step is to add 100 watts to what the PSU calculator suggests....just for future addon's and anything that might have gotten missed in the build.

Most of us PC enthusiasts start off with a 750 watt PSU and something in the Gold/Platinum line....better efficiency.
