    Although I read most of the announcement, I didn't read it all. Missed the part about the donation. I'll probably make a donation yearly.

    Personally I think Adblock Plus is way more effective without the side affects. The last time I used Ad Muncher over half the Google searches I did wouldn't complete and I got sick and tired of
    disabling it so often to get the site to come in. I think the usefulness of Ad Muncher that I was a major advocate for, for a long time has come and gone and that basically the program is broken now
    so the timing to go open source is perfect!

    For what it's worth I have been using AdBlockPlus since the early days when all it would work on was Firefox, since that time it does now work on most other browsers and always has been free. I have had an advert free browser ever since.
