[SOLVED] The link is now found under the three vertical dots icon in the address bar.

I have my version of Firefox 57 heavily customised to look how I like (Theme is 'Dark' and Density is set to 'compact'. I have also disabled the Menu Bar from the very top of the browser, and dragged 'Bookmarks' and 'Options' alongside the icons either side of the address bar.

However I've just noticed when trying to add a page to my bookmarks, that the 'Add to bookmarks' link is no longer there at the top of the Bookmarks menu.

    What am I missing. please?

    Hi Jud.
Open "Customize Firefox". Right down the bottom, there is a "Restore Defaults" Button.
Click on that Button and see if your Bookmarks link returns, in the Menu.
    Failing that, reinstall Firefox.

What was the end result? Did your Bookmarks appear, again.?

Yes, it came back with a restore, but when I go back to my preferred customization, it disappears again.

I stress it's not the bookmark link itself that disappears, just the 'Add to bookmark' link within the drop down bookmarks menu.

I can only assume it's part of the 'compact' density setting.

On mine it shows Bookmark this Page and not Add to Bookmark.

Another thing that you might try is on the end of the URL bar is a Star that can be used to Bookmark a page.

Sorry, yes, I meant 'Bookmark this page'. Don't know why the link disappears when I customise FF, but it's no biggie. The three horizontal dots in the address bar also has a 'Bookmark this page' link, so it's not like the feature is unavailable to me.

Thanks to all who offered their help.
