Acer Aspire One Will Not Boot

    I have an Acer Aspire One and it will not boot to windows 8.1. I have tried restore and reset and restore image. None worked. I get a message that I have a missing partition. I have a set of restoration disks but the computer will not read them even though I changed the boot sequence to load USB DRIVE first. Any suggestions?

    If no one has messed with disk partitions, you may have a corrupted disk.

    Either the disks are corrupted or the disk drive is at fault. Can you read the disks on other computers? If so, use another USB-connected optical drive. If not, see if you can get another set of disks.
