Can you BELIEVE it? I went to accuweather site and they count the pages I have viewed and NO ADS. Then they ask me to allow ads and then try to SELL me an Ad Removal Pass. Guess what - I will use my free ad blocker and if/when it stops working I will find a DIFFERENT weather site with no registration, sign in, force ads on me, or sell me ad removers. The NERVE !

Have had this from other pages in the past.
Any page that asks this should be dumped.
It's their choice to run the site, If they have to rely on income from ads..... they should get another job.

I used to use AccuWeather on my android phone..... constant ads.
Gave it the boot in the end and now I use the BBC Weather app.
    No ads on the BBC.

Can you suggest a specific free weather website, if one exists, that does not have these constant reminders that you are blocking the ads and does not not try to sell you an ad removal permit or otherwise harass you? Not an app for a phone but for a windows 7 laptop computer? I have also dumped 2 or 3 sites that did not suit me. Just want one the gives me the forecast for my town without the sales pitches. I did a BBC search but was not sure of all the choices which one to try. If you could point me to one it would help, although I am tolerating Accuweather which someone else once suggested. Just a simple website like AccuWeather for my town with the pros but not the cons. BBC No Ads would be nice. Thank you.
P.S. If I find one first I will let you know. My previous one began wanting you to register and sign in.

    Free with no ads?

Are you suggesting that those that provide the information you want, work for free?

    Yes, of course, Seth.
There are plenty of sites that don't require you to disable your ad blocker.
If I come across one that insists, I don't return to the site.

    Uh huh.

And those that do so will be out of business.

Add blocking will become at a cost per month, just like the Apple OS and the Windows OS.

Don't make make me come over there:)

Yes I think that free should be just that ...FREE. But I never used to block ads. Maybe that is a recent development. And I guess I don't really mind the ads. But I dislike the site trying to MAKE me not block them. If I go to the food store I do not buy one of every item, but I do not get harassed for the things I choose not to buy nor get attempts to force me to buy that which I do not want. Like I have to live with the ads, the sites should have to live with the people who want to and can block them. If I do not choose to buy the advertised item I will not. And if I can block them I will. And if junk boxes pop up all over the screen I will just discontinue the site and let them know why if possible. All depends. Now that I have ad blockers, why not USE them?
And as Dougie says, that is the town. BBC said they could not find it.

    Uh huh again.

You might want to reconsider your definition of "free".
