And if you're smart, you'll keep waiting until Sp1.

  3. And, RTM (Release 2 Manufacturing) is currently due out on October 22nd,
2009, so unless you are willing 2 wait all the way until October (or
possibly later if RTM gets delayed), hurry up and download Windows 7 today.

  5. That is complete utter nonsense. RC (Release Candidate) Build 6.1.7100 works
great on my Dell XPS 630I. I am also using the Windows XP Mode (Windows
Virtual PC Beta 4 Windows 7 RC). In fact I am logged into it right now and
typing this message from it, by the way.

What good is that going to do? All Verizon is going to do is take his
$40 and be happy. In the meantime, he is just -bob- or
    negative-bob-negative, as usual.

Bob's so old he can even take his pants down to take a wiz without help.
If he gets his pants down, then he got the adult Pamper on to deal with,
    and it's too late. :)

  9. If You Are Going 2 Continue Using Vista, You Should At Least Install Service
Pack 1 (Build 6001), And Then Service Pack 2 (Build 6002), As MSFT
Discontinues Support 4 Older Windows Service Packs 24 Months After The Newer
Service Pack Comes Out, And 12 Months 4 Everything Else (IE, Office, etc.).

  10. P.S. I Can Tell That You Are Still Using Service pack 0 Just By Looking At
Your Headers, By The Way. Support 4 Service Pack 0 Will Expire Soon.

Go for it. The news admin's name is Jeremy. Tell him I suggested you
report me for posting that you should wait until SP1. He needs a good
    chuckle now and then.

    Idiot.

26th you can now pre-order your copy of Windows 7 for a discounted price
of more than half off! For more information, see the Windows 7 Pre-Order

    Jessica...
Re the Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade edition...

I understand a "physical copy" of the OS will be available, presumably a
DVD. Is this included in the $49 cost or is there an extra cost for the
    "physical copy"?

And, if so, will there be additional shipping/handling costs involved?
