I am not well versed in software, but I have a question. On my desktop machine, I run Win 11 64 bit. It has an SSD main drive for C of about 68 gigs. Small. But it has an additional external SSD drive of 1 TB free space. I also have an additional 1TB SSD ext drive I could plug into it that is blank and formatted ready to go.
My question is what would I need to add to that 1 TB SSD in order to run a Linux OS on it? Is it even possible? I have a Linux OS ready to go.
I know I could dual boot,...
This is startling the first times it happens, but I have found that all I need to do is Esc out and my window comes back again. It's just that I never know when this will happen. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem come up and what they did about it. My laptop is an Acer Aspire E 15 . Thanks.

I tried Zorin 16.1 Core OS Linux distro in my virtual machine. It worked fine and I like the OS so I decided to take the plunge and install it. I followed all the instructions and burned the installer to my usb then went for the install. During the install, the installer crashed. I do not know why. By this time though the Windows OS was taken off the system. So all I had left to operate with was the "try Zorin" option that is on the USB. That is what I am using now and that is all I can use....
