Looking for recommendations, but, please read my requiremments.

Firstly, the big things.

1. I do not have, or want, a mobile phone, so any webmail that requires a phone number is useless to me.

2. I'm after something LIGHTWEIGHT. I only have 2GB RAM on here. The more lightweight, the better.

The bottom line is this : I keep all things Google forbidden / locked with Noscript in my Firefox. That is non-negotiable.

Google search actually works better with scripts forbidden - still functional but with less noise / clutter.

So, I guess the only options open to me are...

(1) Change my email

(2) Find a way of keeping some form of HTML Gmail alive.

I've always just had an email address from my broadband provider in the past. I'm now thinking it would help to have another, separate to the broadband provider so I don't run into problems if I want to switch to a different provider in the future.

I know I can use gmail, outlook.com or other free options, but I want something secure as I'll be using it for financial stuff, so I don't mind paying a bit each month.
