I use a software which exports alot of information into Excel which I use for reporting in my professional environment.

I've found it tricky to print all the information even by erasing columns which I don't need; using the fit on one page facility.

When I print using the latter option, all the information is condensed into a small part at the top of the A3 sheet and there's a blank space underneath which I'd like to use to make the information bigger.

So need advice on how best to make the information printable and easy to read.

    Thank you.

After you answer Dougie, can you take a screenshot of the spreadsheet so we can see what you have? Thanks.

Take a look at the margins.

    I'm using Windows 10 in Office 365

Whenever I've tried to print something, I've always adjusted the Margins (narrow), Orientation (Landscape), Size (prefer A4 but have tended to go with A5). In the scale to fit, I've put one page which brings up the attachment (it's a snapshot of the Print Preview)

But it's just the waste of space which could be filled up. I tried adjusting the height in Scale to Fit to two pages but no luck

    Thank you.

I've erased all information on the Excel sheet - it's a screencap of the print preview of how it prints so if you can imagine the content filled in which is small, and as I mentioned, the blank space unused.

Sorry to bump but any pointers to this would be appreciated. Tried printing another document which leaves a big space.

Another idea might be to put more information so it fills out into one page but that's not always ideal.

    Thank you.

Does it have to be landscape?
Can the software be configured or setup to export only the information that you need or have to have?

Can the information that you need from software X be configured or set to show this this and not that then can you export that?

    A5 is a smaller size that A4.

I reckon it would need to be landscape as the information wouldn't fit onto portrait. And the software is limited (it's an Excel export from Wordpress) so not chance to specify what one would want from it sadly.

    Typo error! Meant A3

Quick question: Can you print out the information as you'd like if you enter it manually, as opposed to pulling it in from WordPress? There may be some formatting info in the WordPress export causing this.

Unfortunately not. We enter the information on services then it's exported to Excel and there's no way to modify the printout in anyway besides deleting the columns myself etc.

Have you checked with wordpress since that is where you get the information form plus does any one else do this beside you?

Maybe they might have better ideas that you can use.
